What I’m Working On
I am an artist and craftsperson with an affinity for woodworking and sharing skills. My emerging practice centers healing—both in how it’s made and what it offers to others.
I have worked as a furniture designer for Nakashima Woodworkers, hold a BFA in Industrial Design from Carnegie Mellon University, and am currently studying for my master’s in Art Therapy at Antioch University.
Past Work
Design & Carpentry Workshops
I’ve designed and facilitated basic carpentry classes held specifically for women and non-binary populations at spaces like Prototype PGH, Workshop PGH, Protohaven, and POST Detroit.
I’ve also led pre-college 3D Studio Portfolio Prep for the University of Michigan STAMPS School of Art and Design Pre-College.
George Nakashima Woodworkers
From 2014-2018, I served as the assistant designer at George Nakashima Woodworkers. I designed furniture alongside Mira Nakashima, advocating for the client while bringing out the beauty, proportions, and texture of an unparalleled collection of lumber.
Through independent art direction and editorial development, I have since worked to collaboratively re-shape how the studio shares their rich history and active legacy alongside talented creatives like Asad Pervaiz of Index and Anh Tuan Pham of For Office Use Only.

Protohaven
As director of education, I shaped student experiences for a non-profit on a mission to provide space, industrial tools, knowledge, & community for innovation in design, construction, and fabrication. I designed curriculum, mentored Teaching Fellows, and managed a team of over 10-15 independent instructors.
